Marriage Records
The Cheshire Constabulary Marriage Records contain details of the officers, their spouses and both fathers; and includes the area they lived in, occupations and the date, place of the wedding and who performed it. The records run from 1845 to 1960, however the index of names searchable here only goes to 1939, newer records being subject to data protection. A sample record is shown below.
