STOLEN âO OB CARS - FtECOVERED.
(a) CertificateStolenMotorCars.
The Chief Constablehas forwardedto superintendents
a supply of Forms of Certificaceto be givea to persons
who claim stolen cars which bave been recovered in the
County, and he directs that the same wi11 be taken into
use icoediately.The Certificatewill be handedto the
driver oi 1y ou conditionthat he undertakesto return it
to the Chief Constablewithin 48 hours.
( ) Actionto be taken.
The O£f cer servingthe Certificatewi11 imoxediately
forwarda reportof the particulars,as shovm on the
Certificate,to C.I.D. Headquarters,who wi11, if the
Certificateis not returnodwithin 48 hours, take the
necessaryaction to secure its recovery.
(o) Fingerprintson.
Every stolen car, wheneverpossible, should be dusted
for fingerprintsbefore being handed back to the m 'me r or
his representative.
The Certificatowi11 be signed in ink by the Officer
issuingit.
